De’ Longhi Seeks Major M&A as Coffee Boosts Growth, CEO Says

 De’ Longhi SpA, the Italian appliance maker whose brands include Kenwood and Braun, is looking for a "transformational" M&A deal of as much as 1.5 billion euros ($1.63 billion) to take advantage of favorable industrial and financial conditions, Chief Executive Officer Fabio De’ Longhi said.

  • The firepower for an acquisition is "very high," between 1 billion euros and 1.5 billion euros, and wouldn’t require new equity, the CEO said
