Sunrun Inc., the largest independent U.S. residential solar company, beat its first-quarter installation target, though revenue missed analysts’ estimates.

It installed 73 megawatts, exceeding its 69-megawatt forecast. The company reiterated that it expects to add 325 megawatts this year, which would be 15 percent higher than 2016, according to a statement Wednesday.
