Daimler AG employees are being investigated by German prosecutors over diesel-manipulation allegations, according to a person familiar with the matter.
The Stuttgart prosecutors’ office opened the probe on Tuesday, said the person, who asked not to be identified because the information is private. Joerg Howe, a spokesman for the Stuttgart-based manufacturer, said Daimler isn’t aware that prosecutors are investigating employees.
