China’s resurgent producer prices may hit another milestone Thursday. Economists surveyed by Bloomberg expect the fastest increase for PPI since August 2008. Factory-gate prices have gained five straight months but Tom Orlik, Bloomberg Intelligence’s chief Asia economist, says China’s central bank won’t be in any hurry to tighten aggressively because any pass-through to consumer prices has been limited.
