Mario Draghi and Angela Merkel have never publicly disagreed with one another. Now they have something to agree on.
Three days after joining a chorus rejecting U.S. accusations that Germany is to blame for a grossly undervalued euro, the European Central Bank president is heading to Berlin for one of his regular, closed-door discussions with the German chancellor. The meeting will probably touch on familiar topics -- the state of the economy, Greece’s flaring debt crisis and monetary policy -- and the timing is pertinent.
