William Lacy, Who Led MGIC for More Than a Decade, Dies at 71

William H. Lacy Jr., who helped build mortgage insurer MGIC Investment Corp. for more than a decade as its chief executive officer and president, has died. He was 71.

The former CEO died Sunday of respiratory failure, according to a statementBloomberg Terminal from the Milwaukee-based company Monday. He is survived by his four children and 11 grandchildren.
