France’s Medef Criticizes Valls Small Company Tax Cut Plan

French employers’ association Medef has criticized plans by Prime Minister Manuel Valls to reduce taxes on small companies.

The proposals are “too complex”, Medef deputy vice-president Geoffroy Roux de Bezieux wrote in a statement. “Businesses need clear signals and not new complexities.” Valls announced his plan to reduce small company tax rate to 28% in an interview in L’Express published Wednesday.
