Russian Prosecutors Found 14 Reports in Media About Corruption

The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office media-monitoring operation uncovered 14 publications in the first half of the year about possible corruption, it said in website statement.

“After checks were conducted into the articles’ allegations, in the vast majority of cases they were not confirmed,” prosecutors said in the statement on Thursday. “However there were also justified publications, and prosecutors took steps to react to them.”
