Prime Minister David Cameron pledged to end so-called “blue-on-blue” attacks between members of his Conservative Party in the final weeks of campaigning for the referendum on European Union membership.

The June 23 vote has split the Tories from top to bottom and, despite calling for a “reasonable” and “civilized” debate, Cameron has himself engaged in personal attacks on colleagues, including leading pro-Brexit campaigners Boris Johnson and Iain Duncan Smith.
