Meal Deliverer Wolt Raises $11 Million to Expand Beyond Finland

Finnish startup Wolt raised $11 million from investors including EQT Ventures, seeking to expand beyond its home country to take on larger food-delivery services such as Foodora.
Other investors taking part in the funding round include Skype founder Niklas Zennstrom, Nokia Oyj Chairman Risto Siilasmaa and Ilkka Paananen, head of video-game company Supercell, Wolt said in an e-mailed statement Friday. In total, Wolt said it has raised $14 million since its debut.
