President Barack Obama says he can guarantee there will be no political interference from his administration in a continuing probe of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s e-mail practices.
“I guarantee that there is no political influence in any investigation conducted by the Justice Department or the FBI,” Obama said in an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” adding that he doesn’t talk to Attorney General Loretta Lynch or to the FBI about pending investigations. “That is, institutionally, how we have always operated.”
