Two people have been killed and one is missing in Western Australian wildfires that have destroyed 128 homes south of Perth, Australian Associated Press reported.

The remains of two men, aged 73 and 77, were found at two burnt-out homes in the historic village of Yarloop, population 545, which was all but destroyed by the blaze, the news agency said. The village is 270 kilometers (167 miles) south of Perth, it said.
