Donald Trump Blasts Environmental Protection Agency

Updated on

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Sunday that he would cut funding for the Environmental Protection Agency.

“Environmental Protection,” Trump said on Fox News Sunday after host Chris Wallace asked if there were any federal departments he'd cut. “What they do is a disgrace. Every week they come out with new regulations. They're making it impossible.”

Wallace then interjected that the EPA's job was to protect the environment.

“We'll be fine with the environment,” Trump responded. “We can leave a little bit, but you can't destroy businesses.”

Trump also said he would cut funding for the Department of Education.
