Dutch police arrested an unidentified young man who locked himself in the bathroom of a high-speed Thalys train bound for Paris in an incident that prompted the evacuation of the train and part of Rotterdam’s central station.
The arrest went smoothly and the suspect was transferred to a hospital because he was hyperventilating, Rotterdam police said on their website and in Twitter posts. No suspicious items were found on the suspect or in his backpack.
