Goldman Sachs Hires Former United Technologies CEO Chenevert

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. hired former United Technologies Corp. Chief Executive Officer Louis Chenevert as an adviser to the firm’s merchant banking division.

Chenevert, 58, will help the unit find deals with aerospace and industrials companies, New York-based Goldman Sachs said Tuesday in a statementBloomberg Terminal. The division makes investments for the firm’s private-equity funds as well as its own balance sheet.
