Juniper Forecasts Results That May Top Analysts’ Estimates

Juniper Networks Inc. projected third-quarter results that may top analysts’ estimates and reiterated its forecast for improved spending on networking equipment in the second half, sending shares higher in late trading.
Juniper predicted third-quarter sales of $1.23 billion, with profit excluding some items of 50 cents to 54 cents a share. Analysts estimated $1.16 billion in sales and profit of 46 cents a share, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
