Russian Ministry Sees Signs of Recovery in Country’s Car Market

Russia’s government is weighing 10 billion rubles ($176 million) of additional support for local automakers to stem the plunge in car sales, Industry Minister Denis Manturov said.

“We’ve seen positive results from programs we’re subsidizing,” Manturov said in an interview in Yekaterinburg. “That’s why I believe we’ve touched the bottom and are now set to move toward growth.”
