Greeks Emerge From Polls Uncertain, Divided Over Country’s Fate

Greeks casting votes at Sunday’s polls emerged with mixed feelings of hope, uncertainty and fear about the impact their “yes” or “no” at a referendum would have on their country’s future.

In a nation that is deeply divided since June 27 when Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras called the surprise vote on the terms attached to an aid package, tensions were visible at some polling stations though voting was mostly calm.
