Unless two-time Most Valuable Player and four-time Super Bowl winner Brady succeeds in reducing or overturning a four-game suspension for his part in a ball-deflating scandal, Jimmy Garoppolo will start under center for New England in the NFL’s season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sept. 10.
