DreamWorks Animation Falls After Reporting Wider Quarterly Loss

Jeffrey Katzenberg’s DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. fell as much as 8.7 percent after reporting a wider first-quarter loss because of costs to restructure its moviemaking operation.
The shares slumped 5.8 percent to $24.55 at 1:50 p.m. in New York after tumbling as low as $23.79. DreamWorks Animation was up 17 percent this year through Thursday.
