Lumber Liquidators Under Investigation by Consumer Agency

Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc. is being investigated by federal regulators after “60 Minutes” reported earlier this month that it sold flooring with high levels of formaldehyde.
U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Chairman Elliot F. Kaye said Wednesday on a conference call that his agency is actively investigating the company and testing products dating back to 2012. The probe’s results probably will be released in the coming months, Kaye said. The retailer said in an e-mailed statement that it’s cooperating with the agency.
