Francesco Mazzei, the Italian chef-patron at L’Anima, has left the restaurant, a popular destination for diners in London’s financial district.
He has been replaced by head chef Antonio “Lello” Favuzzi, a native of Sicily, who first worked with Mazzei in Milan. Favuzzi was also in the kitchen with Mazzei at St. Alban restaurant, in London, before they opened L’Anima in 2008.
