White & Case Appoints Banking Head Berg to Lead Asia Business

White & Case LLP appointed Eric Berg, head of the New York-based law firm’s global banking practice, to a newly-created role as head of Asia to expand the firm’s business in the region.
Berg, based in the firm’s Hong Kong and Singapore offices, said in an interview he will work to hire partners from competitors in areas including mergers, private equity, litigation and arbitration.
