A group of buildings on Berlin’s Potsdamer Platz, one of Germany’s most famous squares, will be offered for sale for about 1.5 billion euros ($1.6 billion), according to people with knowledge of the plan.

Eastdil Secured LLC has been picked to market the 18 buildings, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the information is private. The seller is a unit of SEB AB, the Stockholm-based company that owns the property through the SEB ImmoInvest fund that’s being wound down.
