Bhutan, international soccer’s worst team, won the opening match of its attempt to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, beating Sri Lanka 1-0.
The Himalayan country is last in FIFA’s 209-nation world rankings. Teams are ranked based on points and Bhutan, which hadn’t won a game since 2008, has 0 points.
