Qatar Gets Full Control of Milan’s Porta Nuova District

Qatar Investment Authority agreed to buy the 60 percent of Milan’s new Porta Nuova business district it doesn’t already own. The property is valued at more than 2 billion euros ($2.2 billion).
The Qatar sovereign wealth fund will acquire the stake from investors including Hines and insurer UnipolSai SpA, according to a statement on Friday. The value of the transaction wasn’t disclosed.
