South Sudanese police said four people were held for questioning after a British aid worker was shot dead in the capital, Juba, earlier this week.
Unidentified gunmen shot the Briton three times after they followed him into the office compound of his employer, the Carter Center, late on Feb. 17, the East African nation’s police said in an e-mailed statement. Four people have been “detained for more investigation” while the search continues for the “actual perpetrators,” it said.
