Qualitas Medical Group, a Malaysian health-care provider, is in talks with potential buyers amid preparations for a domestic initial public offering, people familiar with the matter said.

The company is working with Rothschild to explore a sale of the entire business that could fetch about $300 million, one of the people said, asking not to be identified as the process is private.
