Philippine Police Commander to Quit If Terrorist Survived

A Philippine police commander suspended from duty after 44 officers were killed in a clash with Muslim rebels last month said he would resign if their target, Malaysian bomb expert Zulkifli bin Hir, survived.
“We got our target,” Leo Napenas, former head of the Special Action Force, said in a televised briefing today. He vowed to quit from the police if he’s proven wrong.
