ECB’s Draghi Seeks Real Economic Union to Lead Euro-Area Reforms

Mario Draghi said euro-area states should form a “real” economic union that would speed and coordinate structural reforms and target common economic goals.
In an opinion piece in Germany’s Wirtschaftswoche magazine, the European Central Bank president said an economic union should replace the management of structural reforms and economic policy that have in the main been left to individual states.
