German Mayor Reverses Plan to Cancel Caricature Show Amid Outcry

An exhibition of caricatures by German cartoonists Achim Greser and Heribert Lenz is set to go ahead in March after a public outcry persuaded authorities to reconsider their decision to cancel the show.

The display by Greser and Lenz, whose drawings are published regularly in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, in the town of Hanau near Frankfurt will go ahead, said Mayor Claus Kaminsky in an e-mailed statementBloomberg Terminal today.
