United Technologies Executive to Leave as New CEO Reworks Units

One of the top executives at United Technologies Corp. is leaving less than two months after the abrupt resignation of the chief executive officer.
Alain Bellemare, CEO of UTC Propulsion & Aerospace Systems, has decided to depart at the end of the month, the company said in a statement. Bellemare, who joined Hartford, Connecticut-based United Technologies in 1996 as vice president of manufacturing for subsidiary Pratt & Whitney Canada, will continue as a consultant, the company said.
