Cooley Expands to London With 20 Partners: Business of Law

Cooley LLP, the firm with Northern California roots, has opened an office in London with 20 partners and more than 55 lawyers in total.

Justin Stock, the former head of Morrison & Foerster LLP’s London corporate practice, will lead the new office, according to a Cooley statement. The firm will include four additional partners from Morrison & Foerster, as well as 14 from Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP, which recently merged with Locke Lord LLP. Additionally, the vice-chairman of Cooley’s business department and partner-in-charge of its Washington office, Ryan Naftulin, will relocate to London.
