Buffett, Handler Name Justin Wheeler CEO of Mortgage Venture

The commercial-mortgage venture owned by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc. and Richard Handler’s Leucadia National Corp. named Justin Wheeler chief executive officer.
Wheeler will step down as chief operating officer of New York-based Leucadia in connection with his appointment as CEO of Berkadia Commercial Mortgage LLC, the companies said today in a statement. Wheeler had been acting CEO since April and took over from Hugh Frater, who is now Berkadia’s chairman.
