Suspected AirAsia Black Box Signals Detected, MetroTV Reports

Signals suspected to be originating from the black box of the AirAsia Bhd. jet that crashed into the Java Sea were detected by three ships, according a television report.
The pings found by the ships probably emanated from the same pinger at a depth of 30 meters, Ridwan Djamaluddin, a deputy head at Indonesia’s Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology, told MetroTV today.
