Oracle’s Kurian Is Said to Be Named as President of Product

Oracle Corp. Executive Vice President Thomas Kurian was promoted to president of product development at the software maker, people with knowledge of the change said.

The promotion was announced internally yesterday, according to the people, who asked not to be identified because the change hasn’t been made public. Kurian, 47, joined Oracle in 1996, and before that worked at McKinsey & Co., according to the software maker’s website. He is responsible for overseeing all of Oracle’s software products.
