Leighton to Sell 50% of Services Units in Apollo Deal

Leighton Holdings Ltd., Australia’s biggest builder, agreed to sell half of its services businesses to Apollo Global Management LLC for A$700 million ($570 million) in cash.

Apollo and Leighton will become equal partners in the maintenance services business as part of the deal, which values the combined assets of the Thiess Services and Leighton Contractors Services units at A$1.08 billion, Sydney-based Leighton said in a regulatory filing today.
