Genera Gets $4 Million From WindSail to Expand Biomass Operation

Genera Energy Inc., a U.S. biomass supplier, received a $4 million investment from WindSail Capital Group to expand operations.
Genera, based in Vonore, Tennessee, produces biomass made from crops including switchgrass for more than 20 customers in eight states, Chief Executive Officer Kelly Tiller said today. The investment from Boston-based WindSail will help the company grow crops in new regions for additional customers.
