Sierra Leone will send teams through the capital to search for bodies of Ebola victims that family members are hiding in an effort to reverse a surge in new infections.

Medical workers will search homes for 14 days in Freetown, Chief Medical Officer Brima Kargbo said in an interview today. He didn’t say when the operation will start. President Ernest Bai Koroma urged local chiefs last month to help in efforts to dispose of bodies in a way that limits the spread of Ebola.
