Natural gas dropped to a two-week low in New York as forecasts for an unusually warm December signaled reduced heating demand.

Most of the lower 48 states will see above-normal temperatures through Dec. 15, said MDA Weather Services. Washington’s high reading on Dec. 8 will reach 58 degrees Fahrenheit (14 Celsius), 9 above normal, AccuWeather Inc. said on its website.
