CBS Corp. and Dish Network Corp. extended a programming agreement into next week, keeping the most-watched U.S. network on the air for Dish’s 14 million satellite-TV subscribers while the parties negotiate.

CBS, based in New York, and Dish announced the extension yesterday in e-mailed statements. Last week, the companies agreed to a five-day extension as they work toward a long-term fee arrangement for Dish viewers to continue getting CBS shows such as “The Big Bang Theory” and “NCIS.”
