National Australia Said to Hire Morgan Stanley for U.K. Unit IPO

National Australia Bank Ltd., owner of the U.K.’s Yorkshire Bank and Clydesdale Bank, hired Morgan Stanley to oversee an initial public offering of its British operation, according to a person with knowledge of the matter.

The IPO may take place as soon as next year, said the person, who asked not to be identified because the talks are private.
