Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH was raided by Munich prosecutors Nov. 13 in a investigation into corruption and tax evasion involving sales to Greece.
The raid is part of a case examining the roles of managers at the maker of wheeled and tracked vehicles, including Chief Executive Officer Frank Haun, a Munich prosecutors’ spokesman, Thomas Steinkraus-Koch, said Nov. 14. The probe was initiated by the company after it conducted an internal review and provided information to prosecutors.
