Left to Their Own Devices

We asked three people of varying ages to track their technology use over a 24-hour period. All three relied heavily on their iPhones, but despite prognostications that savvy users are abandoning their PCs, our test subjects relied on them throughout the day. One surprise: Only the 30-year-old app developer used his iPad. The 55-year-old has one but didn’t pick it up. The college student doesn’t have one and doesn’t want one.
