UniTek Files Bankruptcy With Plan to Give Lenders Control

UniTek Global Services Inc., a contractor for telecommunication companies, filed for bankruptcy with a plan to hand control over to its lenders.

The Blue Bell, Pennsylvania-based company listed assets of $3.2 million and debt of $186 million in Chapter 11 documents filed today in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Delaware.
