Disney Makes Space for Snow White With Tokyo Expansion

Oriental Land Co., the owner of Tokyo Disney Resort, is planning a $4.5 billion expansion of the property that includes almost doubling the size of the space featuring Snow White and Pinocchio rides.
The company has begun developing Fantasyland as part of the 500 billion yen, 10-year plan and will also create a new themed port, to be part of the adjoining DisneySea Park, according to Oriental Land, based in Chiba prefecture, a Tokyo suburb. Oriental Land operates the Disneyland and DisneySea parks in Japan with a license from Walt Disney Co.
