InterDigital Rises After Beating ZTE in Phone Patent Suit

InterDigital Inc., the U.S. wireless technology company, rose as much as 9.1 percent after a jury concluded ZTE Corp. infringed its rival’s patents covering technology used in mobile phones.

Jurors in federal court in Wilmington, Delaware, today found Guangdong, China-based ZTE was wrongly using the phone-chip researcher’s inventions and rejected claims that InterDigital’s three patents were invalid.
