Natural Gas Futures Drop as Mild Weather Limits Heating Needs

Natural gas futures dropped in New York for the third time in four days on speculation that mild weather will limit heating demand as production gains.
Temperatures will be above normal across most of the lower 48 states over the next five days before readings in the East drop to seasonal or lower levels, according to Commodity Weather Group LLC. Gas output from U.S. shale deposits will climb 1.4 percent in November from this month, government data show.
