Five-Year-Old Boy at N.Y. Hospital Is Negative for Ebola

A 5-year-old boy held at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City has tested negative for Ebola after showing a fever upon return from travel in West Africa.

An initial test showed no sign of the virus, according to a statement from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. The boy is being held at the hospital until further Ebola tests are completed, the health department said.
