Canon Raises Full-Year Profit Forecasts Citing Weaker Yen

Canon Inc., the world’s largest camera maker, raised its forecasts for full-year net income and operating profit, citing a weaker-than-expected yen.
Net income will probably climb 8.5 percent to 250 billion yen ($2.3 billion) this year, Canon said in a statement today. The Tokyo-based company previously forecast a profit of 240 billion yen.
